Trademarks for Beginners

Trademarks for Beginners is an introductory course for paralegals who want to learn about trademarks. The course reviews basic trademark terminology, how to use systems on USPTO.gov, and how to draft a trademark application.
Your Instructor
Diane began her career as a paralegal in 2009. She is experienced in Trusts and Estates (estate planning and estate administration) and Intellectual Property.
Diane has two years of experience providing paralegal services to attorneys on an exclusively remote/virtual basis.
She is a CORE Registered Paralegal through the National Federation of Paralegal Associations and a member of the Paralegal Division and Intellectual Property Division of the North Carolina Bar Association.
Diane graduated cum laude from East Carolina University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and a minor in International Business. As an ECU Cheerleader, she enjoyed cheering for the Pirates, interacting with fans, and volunteering in the Greenville community.
Diane resides in Atlantic Beach, North Carolina with her husband and two sons. In her spare time, she loves cooking, running, and yoga. She also enjoys drinking coffee, traveling, and playing at the beach with her family.
